Pre-puppy & settling-in support

• Individual 1-1 sessions either in-person or over zoom to go through any questions you may have prior to bringing home your new pup & settling them in so that you feel supported throughout the process! 

• Includes a written summary of what we have discussed & supplementary handouts.

Puppy Class

•  A course of 5 x 1-hour in-class puppy sessions, covering all basic foundation skills with the last session held 'in the wild' at a local quiet park just a few minutes walk from Golden Valley Vets to practice training in a realistic environment.

• Optional pre-class session held over zoom to discuss topics such as: settling in, separation, toilet training, puppy biting & chewing, building a bond with your puppy through fun training games whilst teaching skills & boundaries. 

​​

• Suitable for puppies who have had their first vaccinations post 10 weeks up until 6 months. *If your puppy is older than 6 months get in touch as other class and 1-1 options are available*

​

• A maximum of 4 puppies to a group to allow for plenty of 1-1 time for each puppy & owner. This allows for slightly tailored teaching to the needs of each puppy. 

​

• Appropriate socialisation time so that puppies can mix constructively & I can talk you through on lead interactions (off lead where appropriate).  

​

• Handouts and supplementary material sent out after every class.

1-1 Puppy Sessions

These are offered in a variety of formats to suit your needs, you may already have an idea of skills you'd like to work on, or you may wish for some guidance. Either way, get in touch to start your training journey! 

​

Bespoke 1-1 sessions: 

• Completely bespoke training to you and your puppy.

• WhatsApp support between sessions. 

• Tailored handouts sent to you after each session. 

​

Book individual sessions or packages (recommended to keep the momentum- discounted package bookings). 

​

Foundation skills:

• Settling in (toilet training, strategies for puppy biting, introducing walking equipment, day & night-time routines). 

• Introducing skills in the home (sit, lie down, learning to walk on lead, self-control games). 

​

Foundation skills+: 

• More focused on training skills such as loose lead walking, recall, self-control starting in controlled environments before moving out on walks. 

​​​

Advanced pup: 

• An excellent follow on for those who have completed puppy class or the above skills and would like to keep practicing and learning skills as you move towards adolescence.

• Identify the key areas you would like support with such as toilet training, biting, chewing, lead walking, confidence building or getting started with training skills. 

• Develop a clear, tailored plan to help you to achieve your goals. 

• Answer any immediate questions and provide you with tips you can get started on implementing straight away!

• We can then look at individual subsequent sessions or if booking a package would be more beneficial.

Deluxe Puppy Package

• A mixture of 1-1 sessions and puppy class sessions for extra support, 

• 3 x 1-hour 1-1 sessions which can be held at any time and are tailored to you and your puppy (* these must all be used within a month of the end of the class course). 

• 5 x 1-hour class sessions.
